Large Fossilised Wooden Bowl from Madagascar. This beautiful and stylish Fossilised Wooden Bowl is from a Monkey Puzzle Tree and has been cut and polished on the top and bottom with striking natural patterning.

Over 200 million years the wood has slowly been replaced with calcite, so although it looks just like wood, the calcite makes it heavy!
