Large Petrified/Fossilised Wooden Bowl from Madagascar. This beautiful Large Bowl is hand carved from a fossilised Monkey Puzzle Tree. Over 200 million years the wood has slowly been replaced with calcite, so although it looks just like wood, the calcite makes it very heavy! A stunning bowl, which is large and deep, perfect for a natural interior.
